JULY 2010

IT’S ALL ABOUT THE RESULT

We all get mail…lots of mail. It is a daily routine of looking through the stack of stuff we’ve received and within seconds we decide to ‘keep’ or ‘toss’ each piece. So what about each piece ‘triggers’ that decision to keep or toss? I think we can all agree on one key trigger, the visual sensation generated by simply looking at the piece. With direct mail, marketing companies strive to target each consumer segment and tailor each campaign to be as effective as possible. With postcards and flyers, we decide to keep it because the visual ‘triggers’ immediately grab us. Pieces with personalized text and photos have proven to get a better response…but what about things in envelopes? Everything is covered up!

You now have the ability to bring the impact of personalized text and images to your envelopes in a quick and affordable way to really kick-up the impact level of materials mailed out. Think “results” and go way beyond just having the address information - mix full color graphics, variable data, images or whatever you can imagine to give your piece what it needs to be in the ‘keep’ pile of mail.

On-demand envelope printing technology also opens the doors for short-run envelopes to use for specific events or functions. You don’t have to keep using the same ‘corporate’ envelope, mix it up with a custom-produced envelope centered on the event or potential customer you’re targeting. It is all about the result … will the piece get tossed or will something about the piece ‘trigger’ us to keep it. Our new on-demand printing systems amp-up the response of your direct mail going out in envelopes.  So the next time you think about envelopes, your options just got a whole lot more colorful. Got an idea you want to try?

JUNE 2010

Automation or 'Human-Interaction'

RTP, NC (June 19, 2010) - In the beginning, an Account Manager meets and listens to a potential client to determine their specific needs and/or any other opportunities he may recognize during this initial discovery process. This may include how to get a product to market faster, how to create a product differently so that money is saved in its production and distribution or a myriad of other things that can help the potential client.  Hopefully, the client realizes that developing a relationship with DocuSource will be important to her success and enters into an agreement with us which moves her from a “potential client” to “Ms. Customer.”

What Ms. Customer wants then is tender, loving care – not just in the beginning of the relationship, but throughout it!  Does she really care what is behind the ‘magic curtain’; that is, what is on the production floor or what it takes to produce the product or what makes her web portal work?  No, Ms. Customer wants it all to be transparent to her and make her life easier and less stressful.  Isn’t that what we are all looking for?  I know when I go to buy a pair of shoes I want the sales assistant to come back with all colors in the correct size.  It doesn’t matter to me if she has to climb over stacks of shoes behind the door – just bring mine to me.

And if there happens to be a problem or some additional instructions that Ms. Customer needs to get to us quickly, she DOESN’T have to go through an automated answering system.  “No listening for the right name, pressing the right number, and then only getting voicemail and becoming ‘totally frustrated’.”  At DocuSource, Ms. Customer gets a person the first time and every time who can help her NOW.  We believe in automation for our equipment and human interaction with our customers.  That’s just the way we roll!

APRIL 2010

DOES ONE SIZE FIT ALL?  NOT when YOU CHOOSE DocuSource!

RTP, NC (April 22, 2010) - Our customers asked us and we came through for them!  Out with the old and in with the new – that is the way we roll in our world.  The time for our customers to use email for transferring their files to us for set up and printing is long gone.  Because each file is different and the technical skill of each customer varies, we offer three choices for file upload.

Our DocuSource file transfer site shatters the boundaries of traditional FTP software because it allows you to quickly send files with minimal steps through a web-based, secure site built on ‘drop box’ technology. Combining direct notifications to your account team with unlimited file size uploads makes this solution a unique replacement that is light-years ahead of traditional email and FTP solutions.

Our Document Factory System (nicknamed ‘Pronto’) has been a rock-solid solution for many of our customers for over five years. With this product, we can design a fully customized order portal specifically for your needs.  We can begin with a simple, secure web-based upload form or go all the way up to a fully customized virtual print center. Fast, easy, scalable and affordable.

Our newest web-based solution is the DocuSource DASHBOARD, a web 2.0 application which opens up virtually unlimited options to you as a customer. From online previewing of files and combining files into binders as well as having exclusive document ‘file cabinets’ and workflows, our DashBoard is the industry’s most advanced software for print on demand, fulfillment and document management.

We stay ahead of the technology curve to make you look good and make your job easier!  Just leave it to DocuSource!

MARCH 2010

ARE YOUR DOCUMENTS SAFE AND PROTECTED?
They are when YOU CHOOSE DocuSource!

RTP, NC (March 23,2010) - Our customers asked us and we came through for them.  No matter how documents come to us, they are in a secure environment so that the product delivered to our clients does not experience any security or confidentiality breach.  DocuSource incorporates a three-pronged strategic security plan: physical security, print production security and network security.  Our building is monitored 24/7 by BFPE should we have a fire.  Public access to our building is handled through our Facility Access Program which is supported by Tech Systems.  Every employee has an Access Badge for their entry.  All visitors are required to come in through the front entrance which is visible on a convex mirror by our Customer Account Manager and our Customer support Team.  As a part of our hiring due diligence, all potential employees must pass a background check, a drug check and a general screening administered by a certified agency.

All printing waste is placed in secure shred bins which are taken offsite to be shredded.  Our network security plan, including the Internet and Web, is protected by Tripwire, an industry leader in network security.  All servers, workstations and desktop systems are monitored by Tripwire Enterprise software which generates daily reporting of changes and security issues that are in-turn managed and corrected by our IT department.  Our e-Commerce sites come with built-in SSL (Secure Socket Layer) 128-bit encryption to protect any sensitive materials as they are passed from you to us.  And lastly, we are compliant with NIST 800-53 rv1 for the handling of ‘moderate risk’ data.  We are willing to listen to you and change to improve your experience with us!
