In today's business world, color printing rules. Whereas people used to rely solely on black & white printing, today they prefer color. With everyone being overwhelmed with messages every day, color helps get attention and makes your documents stand out in a sea of competition.
Color printing and color copies have come a long way in the last 15 years. While traditional color copies of printed documents formerly left a lot to be desired, today's digital color copies offer high-quality, slick originals on a variety of paper stocks, including cover stocks up to 130#. Since the majority of printing is now done from digital files, each color print is an original, equally good from the first to the last no matter how long the print run.
Gone are the days when offset printing was the only option to achieve top quality. Today's technology blurs the line between digital and offset printing. Digital equipment provides a high-quality option for short run color printing – commonly referred to as on-demand. On-demand digital printing essentially means you can print what you need, when you need it, without waste. In the past, to get the quality they desired, companies would print a minimum offset run of 2,000 pieces to get the 750 pieces they needed for a project. Eventually, after pointlessly storing the 1,250 extras for a while, the company would throw out the excess pieces because they had grown obsolete. On-demand printing gives you the quality you desire and you only print what you need, reducing the amount of material you need to store and ultimately the wasted amount that gets discarded.
