Kathy Murchison, President and CEO of DocuSource of NC, LLC, announced the purchase and installation of the Canon imagePRESS C7000VP digital color press and two Canon Imagerunner 7125s. All three pieces of equipment have inline booklet making capabilities.
We’re excited about the possibilities this equipment brings to our business and marketplace” said Kathy Murchison, President and CEO. “We researched many options before deciding on the Canon equipment. It was time to update some equipment, add additional capabilities and increase our efficiencies to meet our customers’ expectations. DocuSource now shares its production footprint between Xerox and Canon equipment. With the installation of this equipment, DocuSource doubled its ability to produce pieces that utilize variable data printing (VDP) and short run color printing. It also allows us to accelerate our production of specialty advertising and marketing media, such as posters, post cards and sell sheets, thanks to the efficiencies realized with the new equipment.”
DocuSource, a business communications services provider, was founded in 2001 to meet the unique needs of the pharmaceutical, biotech, software development and business training sectors in the triangle area. DocuSource takes a consultative approach, working with their customers to maximize their visibility by making them look better.
DocuSource believes that the empowerment of their staff and the purchase of the newest technology in equipment translate to a dedicated focus on better service to their customers.
